My mom has been the biggest inspiration in my life. The reason is that my mom has always been there for me. She spends her time taking care of me when she could be using her free time for her instead of me. She always believed in me and she knows that I can do anything that I put my mind to.
When I was little I played baseball. My mom was there for me because she would always take me to baseball practice and baseball games. I never did miss a practice or a game unless I was sick. Same thing goes with hockey. But hockey was a big decision. It was a big decision because it cost a lot more than baseball. It cost more because you have to buy al o the equipment. And if you wanted to play you had to have all of the gear. My mom always took me to school. I never missed a day of school unless I was sick. My mom always volunteered at my school. When I have kids I will be volunteer at their schools.
My mom always said to do your best and try hard. Like with hockey. Whenever I get onto the rink I can hear my moms voice saying” Konnor do your best and try hard.” I have always been trying hard in everything. The main things my mom wants me to try hard in is school and hockey. After a while I quit baseball and put all hands in on hockey. That’s what I have been doing for a sport. When I’m at school my mom voice is also in my head. When I’m about to take a test I can hear my moms voice again.
My mom always worked to take care of me. She worked really hard. Then after she was done at work my mom had to drive to the daycare to pick me up because when school was over my mom was still at work and I had to go to the daycare. Then after she picked me up she took me home fed me dinner and put me to bed. After was in bed she would have to clean. It shows how much she loves me by the way she worked to take care of me. My mom didn’t like her job but she still went to work just for me. And to top it off when my mom had to do all that stuff she was a single mom at that time.
